Terry and I went up to the roof patio of the Amadeus for breakfast - just rolls, fruit, cheese and coffee - but very pleasant.
We just loafed around until about 1pm
outside our windows (small balconies)
and then we walked down towards the Giraldo and the Alcazar (where we paid to go in!) and walked around there for 2 hours. Very impressive; lots of lovely gardens and tiles!!

Back to the hotel to cool down for a while, and then out for something to eat. I've forgotten the name of the restaurant, but Paul started with Andalucian salad, while T and I had soup, which was TURNIP - yuck! We all then had chicken (pollo) and chips; very adventurous!
There followed a long walk, looking for presents to take home, with little success. The bells were ringing like crazy on the Girondo - something was going on - and we got in for free! A magnificent place, which was quickly filling. They were celebrating some Bishop's 25th year - and it was live on TV!
A little more 'strolling', searching for pressies (with a little more success) and then back to the hotel to rest!!
