Saw this game live on Channel 4. I am very happy that we won. For fear though of coming over as a fuss-pot or not much of a fan, I am not going to say an awful lot about the game. Perhaps that makes me sound even more of a non-fan, but so be it.

Conceicao's goal was good - a great finish. We have Buffon to thank for this win though. Him and Thuram and Cannavaro also. I despair of where some of those players on the pitch came from or how they got into professional football. Sorry - but I am longing for the end of the season, so that somebody can do something about this "team" of ours. Falsini and Bolano, for two, are jokes.
