Meanie chose his field area very carefully.

There was a deserted beach with lots of rocks.



Great strata.



And a hut to make his tea in.



He hitched a ride. Digging he might do - walking he didn't.



He searched for hours.



He climbed for hours.



He found

NOTHING

He was very depressed and sat in a boat to howl for a while.



But he just got more and more depressed (and boy he was TIRED) - so he decided to dig himself into the sand. Maybe he would become fossilised himself!!
