Part 3, Tuesday 23rd June

We picked up our luggage, got through customs, phoned Dad, picked up the car from the Marriott and then drove home. We had booked and paid for a cheap Travelodge in case we needed it, but T said he felt fit enough to drive. I remember getting egg sandwiches from Reading (I think) services. Then I remember Paul being asleep - and then I remember (I think) approaching Bristol and then I too fell asleep (for the fist time ever in a car). Then we were at Dolbeare Cattery, picking up the rabbits a day early. They went into their boxes with no problem - maybe they were glad to see us. We slept for several days, it seems and, even now, 2 weeks later, we are still sleepy! But it was all worth it; such experiences.
Most memorable were (1) the lava hitting the ocean (2) the submarine trip (3) the botanical gardens - but everything was splendid. The only thing is, we never had a mai tai.

Oh, and we never saw one hammock.
